Hello,
My car has had a drivers side collision and the engine bay lid will now not release. The cable does not feel broken, and there is no damage to the lid shut line. There is damage to the drivers side rear 3/4 panel.
Is there a backup release somewhere? Can the catch be unscrewed from below or popped by accessing it through the boot?
