yes it dose have the chassis number stamped in, and it matches, plan on taking to that area with some sandpaper in the next while to see if its got any weld marks or filler under there. also planning on pulling the carpet out to see what I can find under there
also how could you tell the plate was from a T-top? because that would be pretty definative
the car was bought off of a friend of a friend who has owned it for years in sa, and moved to sydney a bit over a year ago, then moved it to sydney a few months after that and would have been oblivious to all of this
not too worried, bought it so cheap that i could recoup about 80% from selling the rims alone
fully aware of what re-birthing is, but this seems like it still stands a chance of being legit, (plz don't crush my hopes just yet)
