Thanks for the input guys. All the wires (including throttle pedal plug) are now repaired (funded by the roll cage workshop).
Special thanks to Paul who helped me with wiring diagrams and photos.

The car is back at home. Roll cage looks sweeeet!
I am the worst when it comes to painting.. First coat is on but the bloody wind decided to pick up and pretty much ruined my day :(
I'll give it a light sand and do another coat tomorrow. Then probably leave it for a week or so, and give it a very light sand just to get rid of the glossiness.

It's great to hear that the wiring has been fixed!
The cage looks great too.

Coming along nicely. As far as the roll cage paint use satin or flat black if you don't like the glossiness look.

I actually dont mind the glossy look. I was just worried it might reflect sunlight etc on the track on a sunny day. I'll give it a try and see I go.

Alright, so here's the thing: I need to get the car to Canberra in late Nov.. I wont have a trailer until early/mid next year.. So I thought stuff it, I'm driving!

The car is still road registered, so I thought my mission today is to make it look as subtle as possible so it doesn't stand out as a track car like dogs balls on the freeway..
I spent Friday afternoon quickly butchering and hacking the interior (and crying) to get a fair chunk back in to achieve my "I'm just a road car, nothing to see here, leave me alone" objective.

Unfortunately I had to do the interior "modification" quickly (and without too much of a cosmetic care), otherwise I would've spent days and days trying to make the modified interior look nice, knowing it's coming back out in a month or two! (plus I wanted to spend some time with the family :)

Stil plenty to do.. but at least I know the 16th of Nov track event is achievable!

Today I thought it's time for the Mishimoto radiator to go in.
The radiator is in, however the stock fans don't line up without modding their shrouds.. So I jumped online and bought me a Mishimoto radiator fan shroud (which I know I should've purchased them with the radiator, but $ didn't allow back then)

The old radiator was VERY tired.. corrosion everywhere..  things snapping off like a mofo..
The two hoses were fine though, so I reused them however I used proper hose clamps instead of the stock crappy ones.

On the "I'm a road car, leave me alone" theme, I thought let's put the fog lights on and replace those tired front parkers/indicators.
Rear wing is waiting for the Autopista wing.
Front bumper is waiting for the gen3 lip (which I hope I can install without taking the bumper off).

Next job is putting the windshield and 1/4 panels back on.

You can install the front lip without removing the bumper, so don't worry about that.
