well the tuner said a week to a week and a half, so fingers crossed nothing goes wrong.

I am aiming to debut it out at the next SA meet on the 9th Feb, so lets hope so..

WELLL................

Dramas galore with the tuner I used, I am well out of pocket, and as far as I drove it today was out their driveway, onto the car trailer, towed home, drove it off the trailer and back into its common resting place, my shed...

I recently spent 2 full weekends fixing the front lip I "HAD" on the car, I was so annoyed after dealing with this mechanic, I launched it onto the trailer, ripped it off the front bar, and split it into 2 pieces...

As for the running, I need to put in the extended clutch slave cyclinder push rod as the clutch isnt fully engaging with the pedal fully on the floor. They have only tuned the idle and have put a rev limit of 3000rpm as they have done now tuning.

So after a quoted 2 weeks, but roughly 2 months later, atleast I have a slightly running car and a nice clean wiring loom installed...

Damn mate, sorry to hear all the drama surrounding the car.  I've heard many stories about the last 10% of a build being the most stressful and money draining, sounds like your in the same situation.

I personally haven't gone through that myself, but have heard others saying how the tuner/mechanic is often the one who lets the build down.
I'm sure I speak for many when I say stick with it (the car, f*#k the tuner) and perhaps try another tuner/mechanic in a month or so after forgetting about it?

Also, I've got some mates in SA who have got their cars tuned after a major build (supras, silvias, skylines) so I could find out where they went to and how reputable/good the tuner was if you want?

Keep at it mate, you are almost there. I know how painful it can be, but keep at it.

Best of luck

cheers mate, I think I am going to keep it, and slowly work on it, there is a little more work to do yet to finish off what they couldnt, to have it totally complete and ready for tuning..

In regards to the clutch, I will put the extended push rod in the slave cylinder, but is there another way to adjust it if I have to?

Hey glad to hear your keeping it
It will be wicked
Am still looking forward to the finished product :))
That front mount is an achievement by itself

But if you or anyone else reading has a ct20b or bolt on turbo in good condition ill buy it.
Or a seal kit for a ct26 I may be interested in that
Have a feeling my turbo seals are on there way out :)
