Since MR2 owners are pretty slack at getting organised, I'm posting this up 3 months in advance!
Yes, it's on a FRIDAY! You have 3 months to get a day off from work or pull a sicky (That's the Australian way right? :D)
 
Details
$80 for a half day
$120 for the full day (Cheaper then Slidewize! and a real track day!)
Track licence from just $20 or $50 for a yearly.
No need to register, just turn up on the day!
 
Layout
Course will be which ever layout the officials choose.
Cars will be broken into groups.
Groups will be sent out in 20min sessions, rotating continuously for the day.
No Timing. If you want timing, BYO timing - Cheap ones available from here: http://www.mrpltd.co.nz/.../289/racing-incar-lap-timer.html
 
Requirements
Wrist to ankle clothing.
Helmet with the Australian Standards sticker on it (Not a $10 eBay pocket bike helmet!)
Secured battery
All lose items removed from the car.
 
Passengers
Unfortunately QLD Raceways insurance doesn't cover passengers, so you will have to be happy with a GoPro riding shot gun to capture the awesomeness.

be aware folks, practise days are not defacto sprints/races. all you will get is some track time, with no real structure to it and no timing. 

Count me interested, though not certain. Knightrous- I would love to see that red beast actually on the track rather than trawling the car park (at the recent MCM meet)!

that gives me something like 19 weeks to get the SW's finished, the AW finished, the 4Runner finished, 5 weeks worth of rallies . . .
