Hi folks,
 
What is the amp draw of the stock intercooler fan?  Aftermarket 9" ones draw 7.5 amps.  I can't find the data in the bgb/wiring diagrams.

It comes off the 20 amp 'vent' fuse, havent tested it, just chucked it, but know all the others i have, my guess is yeah under but close to 10A constant, but with all motors it will draw much more on startup, so around 15+ amps for less then 1 sec.

I wonder why it throws the error light with the 7.5amp aftermarket fans if the stock fuse is 20A.

if you just installed these fans.then you could likely be triggering the fan ecu fuse in the boot.

The wire are tiny and cannot handle it.
