Keen to know what you think of the shocks when you get it all sorted, I had a look at a set today.

Very happy with the BCs. Their low speed response is a bit rough but once up to speed they dampen perfectly.

1MZFE out of 2000 Avalon

 
Tracking down parts at the moment. All I'm waiting on is a 1MZ/3VZ flywheel, Adaptronic e420d and my mount from Woodsport.

Nice! the 1MZFE from the Avalon revs a bit higher and puts out a smidge more power than the one from the Camry/Vienta.

very very nicely done! Ill be watching this thread with a lot of interest.  When my motor goes, it's getting an avalon.  Are you mating this to a Gen3 gearbox?

I'm sticking to the S54, for now atleast. They seem to handle a stock 1MZFE well enough and if Woodsport is prepared to fit them to their conversions then they're good enough for me. With the Adaptronic I could be pushing into the 170kw range so at some point an E153 will need to go in. Or alternatively S53/S52 internals and a ZZW30 LSD could be put into the S54 housing.

He's running a Greddy SP dual exhaust (which does sound awesome!!) and are stupidly hard to find.

How do you figure? He states in the in the comments.
 
Edit: But then you dig back and he then says Greddy SP like you said... wtf.

The fact that its VERY loud might also be an indication that its not factory.

There are some other vids of v6 mr2s on youtube with different exhausts. the legalis R sounds quite nice :)

That's not very loud, not even loud in my books :D
 
Its much quieter than the videos I've seen of trust, berk and apexis hooked up to 1MZ.
