Getting it in writing isn't worth a piece of poo.

It either has to have the euro 'e' or big long list of numbers in the actual mould of the lens.

And if it has been tinted by a third party? Well thats different from the manufactuers specs isn't it?

I think the third ones, the crystal black, are darker than what you want...

Hmmm from what I can figure out, they are e approved too... so shouldn't be a problem. It looks as though its the reflector more that's Black rather than the lens. ..

Fair call. :D

Yeah I think I will go with the other ones, I just feel they aren't quite dark enough... anyway. Thanks for the help guys!
From my researche I have found that "autoart lenses" (google auto art indicator) are the only place in the world that make aftermarket mr2 lenses that are e approved.
Which for all intents and purposes should be able to meet adr standards.
Hope this helps someone!

I've got the crystal black lenses that you linked and they the angle in that photo makes them look blacker then they really are. I could take a couple of pics if you want?

Heres a couple of pics. As you can see I'm missing the trim for the front bumper at the moment so they'll be flush on yours assuming you have the trim.
