Hi All

After the smash hit sprints session at the nationals, I have decided to try an organise this more regularly
This isn't an official club event, but moreso for those that are interested into getting on the track with a bunch of simillar cars in a safe environment

The cost for entry into street sprints at the moment is $145 and you are put in a group of cars up to 20. The format is 4x5 Lap sprint sessions, with optional timing for extra. You can buy a timer outright for $120. It will work at Willowbank, Lakeside, Wakefield Park raceway and a few others. You will also need a AASA Licence which is roughly $50 for the year or $20 for the day.

I've consulted with QR and they have come back to us saying that we can book a session for 1450, with as many or as little cars as we would like.

So realistically, we need 10+ cars to make it economical. the more cars, the cheaper. I am in the progress of getting the available dates we can choose from.

What I am asking for is for those who are keen to do these regularly to put your name down below. That way I can post it on the forum but also consult with those who are interested directly.

My aim is to get 20+ cars on the EOI list.

Can you create a facebook event page once you know dates, it's a lot easier to manage dates and people on there these days.

Eric - if you're short on cars, hit up the 86/BRZ club that made up the numbers with us on the Slidewyze day (Gympie Skidpan) a year or so back.

Keen as! It does depend on dates a little for me as the car will be off the road for a bit in the next month or so for a build up :) I also have a mate who I'm sure will be interested once I get the chance to ask him.

Yes if you have a good mate or two who may be interested, keep them in mind incase we need to fill the gap
