Spent last week at Wakefield Park getting approval for the special stage and it was approved! Yahoo! I walked to the stage after discussions with the track owner. There are some parts which have not seen a car in years so it will be fun as it goes from grip to no grip, off camber and more. Should be a lot of fun.
 
Also covered a lot of ground tonight with format for the event,costing,classe, track layout and points structure. Next is entry forms. Will email these out to interested parties later this week.

Just an update.
I have written the disclaimer and regs last night. Just need to sort out application forms and the pack is ready to go. The site is registered and hosted but no content as yet. Expect to have it online this week.
Im looking for a few volunteers for scrutineering, marshalling, bbq. I can offer a night accomodation for volunteers who are not entering the trackday or are simply driving in the social driving sessions . Four are needed.
Once the applications are available, I will post to all people who sent email so they have the opportunity of having first option with the garages.
 
Pricing is confirmed at $370 for trackday challenge entrants, $170 for social sessions, $40 for passengers. More details available in the information pack.
The photo session has also been approved. This is a opportunity for everyone entering the event to have access to the track from 6pm till dusk to use any part of the track for photo shots. Speed is limited to 30kph as pedestrians are using the track while car move to their prospective locations for that 'shot'.
Also provides the opportunity for people who have never been on the track to have their car on track without any pressure of driving to show,shine and gather some pictures.
If requested, people not entering but which to have join in the photo shoot can send an email to make allowances. This is aimed at MR2 owners who have done a day cruise and arrive in the afternoon can enter the track for the session.
Im planning to work on it more tonight after trying to get the car up and running.
