I'm planning to buy an AW11 and was wondering if the MR2 Club is part of the scheme yet?

You need to be a member of an Authorised Club (as Steve says it won't be long before the MR2 Club VIC Branch gets authorisation) in order to take advantage of the Club Permit Scheme.  If your membership lapses .... so does your Permit.  The AW11 must be 25 years old, to the month on the build VIN, before it will be acceptable.  Then you can get a 45 day or a 90 day log book which must be filled in each day you use it.  If you opt for 45 days you can pay for an additional 45 days in the 12 month period, but 90 days is the most you can have in one 12 month period.

My AW11 Reg is due July for a November 1987 build. I'm not sure what to do. Leave it unregistered for 4 months, renew now, cancel in November, get a refund and then put it on the CPS or not worry about it till July 2013.  decisions, decisions!!!!!
