Just a reminder that I have a spare bed in my little standard villa at the Colonial village for a single female if anyone is in need.  Very cheap, includes breakfast too .  You would just need to bring bed linen or hire it for $15 per night.

Ok, finally able to make the decision that yes i will be coming to this event, well kind of, with no MR2 and to only some activities.
 
Ill be flying in and out, believe ill be rolling with Totenkopf.

Let me just confirm some details for the AHD at Willowbank this Saturday.
 
The QR website says we should be there for the 7.45AM safety breif and to sort out registration etc. Our session is 1.00PM-5.00PM.
 
I've paid the early entry fee + the $20 for the QR licence. Is there anything else?
 
All I need is a helmet + long sleeved shirt/pants and closed in shoes (+ food/tools etc)?

did you receive the email I sent to everyone about ten days ago in respect of the AHD requirements for participants? If you follow the instructions on it, register and get your licence on line, then there is no requirement to be at Willowbank at 7.45.am.
 
If you didn't receive the email then let me know and I will re-send it.
 
If you do get there at 7.45am you will get mixed up with Downshift doing happy laps. Check out the QR website again and you will find that the drivers briefing for the Street Sprints (our AHD) is at 12.30pm and the session starts at 1.00pm plus the requirements are there for the clothing, etc. 
 
The group staying at the Nationals HQ will be getting to the track at about 10.30am just in case we need to do anything else. One of our Committee will be located in the QR car park entrance to guide people as to where they have to go if they not part of the bigger group.
 
Because of all the events going on at the Willowbank complex over the weekend it is going to be busy traffic-wise so expect possible delays.

thanks for the kind wishes and we are sorry you aren't here too. Maybe at the 2017 Nationals in Ceduna?? We'd be there!
 
Anyway, how can anyone who is a member of that exclusive group, the MR2 Beams Brotherhood, be unfortunate?

I actually feel a bit guilty for not attending, knowing how much work you, Eric and others must have put into organising the event.
If Nationals were held in Ceduna I wouldn't bother attending lol. The nearest twisty roads are 800kms away, and you need a 4wd to go anywhere interesting.
