I shall do so :)

It looks like i'll be flying in for this event, as I have a Spyder to sort out over there that needs some work done to it.  Will be a good chance to show off the new suspension setup i've been helping develop over the last 6 months with a 'new kid on the block' supplier :D

My main question is:  Is it going to be an issue if I nick someone's passenger seat for the drives etc.?  I can't really justify putting 4000kms on my Spyder (plus its lack of storage will drive me insane)  But would be happy to cover some gas cost/mechanical nous if wanted! :)

Nice to see another '03 Spyder.. I wouldn't mind that T28 myself ;). No passenger space I'm afraid though, my folks like to come along for the ride, alternating of course.

Looks like a couple of SA guys, John from WA and maybe another 1or2 NSW guys will be heading up from Sydney with me doing some GOOD roads on the way. Looking at leave on the Thurs morn early do Putty rd, Buledelah, Waterfall way and back way into Grafton. Stay around this area the night then Gwydir highway out through Gibraltar range to Glen Innes on to Tenterfield and bruxner hwy to Casino. On to Nimbin for supplies and stay on back roads from Murwillumbah through Gold Coast hinterland and on to Brissy. Going to be some long days on road but great roads to make it worth while. Still sorting route and times, distances , Thurs night stop but trying to fit in as much as possible while on road anyway.

Great plan and those are some of the bestest roads available.  Been hell for leather through all those since the 1960s.
Did similar diversions after Nationals at Bright in 2011 and also lots of mountain roads to and from Nationals in 2013 in Tasmania.  Spent a couple of extra days in the Snowy Mountains after MTC 2015  at Wakefield Park. Absolutely great roads.   Enjoy your drive and I look forward to hearing the story when you arrive here.   Cheers.

Sounds like lots of good roads.  Probably a few too many for me in a short space of time & with so many twistys I'd never keep up anyway.  I was originally going to head up the coast road, with some detours, but not that many.    I decided to head up inland & meet the Vic guys at Tamworth & booked my Accom earlier this week.

Oh my bad. Nimbin and suspension are two words you don't hear used together often. While in Rome however...
