Shaz,
thanks for letting us know you are coming and making the booking.
As you have probably seen the Nationals deal with the Colonial Village is better than offered on Trivago or elsewhere, but it does pay to get in quick as you have done because the place is popular. Your post is a good pointer to others to start making arrangements because the accommodation deal with the included breakfast is the best in town for the quality of the motel and it's location.
Eric had Entry Forms at the track event in Goulburn so hopefully you picked up a copy. If not then we will get one to you ASAP via email. We haven't sent them out before this as we wanted to properly finalise the costs so everyone knew exactly what they were in for.
The big bonus this year has been the huge drop in petrol prices which of course the Committee is happy to take credit for as it makes driving here soooooo much cheaper!
On the "Advanced Handling Day" (
AHD) we have used this description because the words "track day", "racing" and "competition" tend to have different meanings for people, particularly when it comes to insurance coverage, and we also didn't want to make this event just a copy of Goulburn, or vice versa.
The AHD is based around the Willowbank "sprint" circuit (run by Willowbank, not by the Nationals Committee) and as such should be great fun with good learning opportunities on handling the car. We also have some surprises in store at the track so we would encourage all to attend. Just don't forget that there are only 20 places available and at 1 April we are going to open up the entry list to people in Queensland who are chomping at the bit to do this at Willowbank.
Really appreciate the support and hope you can encourage others in NSW to come along.
Walter
