Cool. Well let me know what you would like me to start organising/looking for.

Looking good. Yeh I think the centres will look nice in silver. Will somewhat match the stripes too.

Yeah I'm of two minds now if I want to spray them silver, the metallic grey on them is actually pretty much the same colour as my old wheels, and while I hated them, they also match my racing stripe, so I don't think they look bad.

Did a minor but very annoying fix last night. The underside of my targa plastic is broken so my shades fall down (they are prone to anyway) so rather than dealing with it or having too much light/heat in the cabin, I did this instead, mostly for teh lolz.

Are you looking for targa plastics? I have a spare set of AW11 targa roofs sitting around doing nothing with black plastic bits on them.

I've been looking for them for years... No one wants to separate plastic from glass.

Twos R Us are starting to reproduce replacement ones though, I took up on their preorder last year. Some of the parts are already done but they are still waiting for the others to be completed, so I won't get them until they are all ready to ship, which should hopefully be in the next month or two.

So no worries, it's already covered, hence why the CF vinyl is a temp fix. If I get annoyed of the vinyl, I'll just plastidip them.

I am so envious of your adub at the moment. I hope mine can look as good one day soon.
That Adub so sexy I'm pretty envious myself... while mine is just meh

So an update of sorts, been very busy every weekend of the last month, and busy doing all the right things!

- Bought an engine crane on special, never ever thought I would buy one but they fold up really well so surprisingly fits in my front storage shed. Finished off the last few bits and dropped the engine off the stand and mated with transmission.

- Queen's birthday long weekend my old man drove down to Canberra from Wollongong to give me a hand reinstalling it all into the Autodub. Engine was bolted up Saturday evening but reconnecting everything in the engine bay and bolting up the rear suspension + doing brakes meant we only got the fire up the engine mid Monday morning.

- Second hand engine is running good, a bit rough at first and has a tiny bit of valve tick on cold due to clearances not being checked since ever, but since it's only a temporary engine I'm very happy with how it has turned out.

- I'm using the transmission I bought from SAW4397. Swapped the front oil pump over from mine and gave it a good going over, everything appeared fine but I have massive slip in forward gears. Reverse and everything else is fine, so the car is off to the transmission specialists tomorrow.

- Initially did not have the knock sensor plugged in properly, sorted it out to find the sensor is bad anyway (mine typically disintegrated when I dropped my engine, replacement is another second hand one). I've had a new knock sensor on order with Summit Racing since Feb but it's constantly on backorder, so no idea when it will show up. If anyone has a spare working knock sensor they wanna part with for $50 let me know!

- With the Canberra cold I had an easy time spotting coolant vapour leaks within the engine bay, looked like my new genuine Toyota rad cap was letting some out so replaced it with my TRD one. Tightened up a few other hoses but still have a slight leak from my thermostat housing, so might need to drain cooling system and give that one another try, maybe with a gasket or goo this time around.

- Brakes have been refreshed all around, better condition calipers on the rear with new RDA slotted/dimpled rotors, EBC redstuff and goodridge braided lines. Front calipers were fine and I couldn't get the lines off to swap so will take it to a shop sometime in the future, swapped zinc plated RDA slotted/dimpled rotors and EBC redstuff. fluid has been flushed to Nulon super DOT 4 at the moment, if I decide to take it to the track I'll flush again and put in Motul RBF. Passenger side handbrake cable has seized so new one is in post.

- Replacement targa plastics and end piece triangles arrived from Two's R Us!

Another update:
 - SAW's transmission came back with worn out C1 forward clutches, so it needs a rebuild too. For now it's simply a case of the lesser of two evils, which is putting my old transmission back in that's stuck in forward gears, so at least I can drive the car infrequently. In a few weeks time I will be embarking on a holiday to Germany, including a few laps around the green hell in a GT86, so focussed on that for the moment. Once I'm back I'll evaluate budget and whether it's worth the risk attempting a transmission rebuild myself or if it's better off taking the 2k hit and letting the shop do it for me. At the moment old transmission is back in but car is still on stands as the rear suspension needs reassembling.

- Drove up to Mrskylighters on Sunday evening and picked up his surplus HKS exhaust, as I've wanted one of these for a while and intend on giving it some TLC before fitting it, old vs new here, maybe should give my mid pipe some TLC too.

Undecided if I'll try to respray it with a high temp paint and cure it myself, or if i'll call up a place who can properly ceramic coat and bake it for me. Worst case I can try myself and do it properly later.

Another update of sorts.

- With spring rolling around and a few days owed off work, I put myself to the task of taking apart my second transmission from SAW and swapping components with my third transmission from an AE92 Levin. Parts were 100% identical so proceeded to swap the forward and direct clutchpacks around, although nothing looked wrong with the ones I ripped out.

- Got the car back together and managed to give myself a nasty finger cut in the process (banging the driveshafts back in and got it caught on the hub where it meets strut, very ouch). so whilst it was strapped up I proceeded to rub back and respray the HKS exhaust from Mrskylighter. Turned out quite good! Bolted everything back together and turned the key. HORRIBLE SOUNDING METAL ON METAL.

- Double checking the starter wasn't catching and turning the engine and rolling the car etc. I've confirmed it's definitely transmission sounds, so somehow despite swapping over parts on the transmission and what appeared to be all back in and aligned properly, I've ballsed it up and made it worse.

- Left with the inevitable path of taking my original transmission to the shop now for rebuild. Just waiting for enough funds to accumulate, but also my rego has expired beyond renewal in ACT so I need to take it over the pits again. Once the transmission is fixed should not be an issue apart from having a different engine number this time around due to replacement GZE, so will just need to make sure my paperwork is in order before hand.

- Have a BRZ being delivered sometime in late November so will fill the adub void for a little bit. Hopefully later this summer I find the time and money to get the Autodub running again, but for now it's parked up again. Looks awesome with the HKS exhaust (must get pics) but sad at the same time due to the layer of dust that has accumulated. Time for a new car cover since a neighbors cat ruined the last one.

Have thought about selling it as is for a ridiculously good price considering the parts and condition of it all, but don't really want to unless the right buyer comes along (and I already know a few but they're short on cash too).
