So I'm having real trouble deciding where to run the water lines for my W2A intercooler, and looking for input.
I've run them along the radiator pipes up till the battery tray, but after that its tricky. I want to avoid cutting anything important, but keep them out of the way as much as possible. (Kinda works against each other)
How have other people gone about this? My latest thought is using the large wiring grommet underneath the headlights and routing them through the frunk, but this would still need a few sharp bends. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

i took them up above the fuel tank beside the heater pipes... alot of work to do that though

It is a tricky one. What diameter are the lines are where is the entry and exit to the heat exchanger? You could extend the lines as they are towards the radiator and support them with brackets beneath the frunk, and turning them up towards your heat exchanger. Your lip might disguise the lines from the front if you have one.
 
Your idea would also work and this is what Im planning to do (Im going use the heater lines above the fuel tank for the longer sections as I dont need them). I think if you follow the coolant lines in the frunk, you can exit your line from the frunk to beneath the headlight assembly and return them through to where the radiator is with minimal cutting. All depends on size of your lines, entry/exit to the heat exchanger and how many other sharp bends you have elsewhere

I ran the lines under the fuel tank, then over the steering rods, underneath the car. Then at the back of the Radiator fans put a 90Deg elbow on each line and run towards the outside of the car (so to speak) on each side. I think one side followed the A/C line. You can then you can bend it around just beneath the headlights 180 Degrees to the front of the radiator where you'd have your heat exchanger.
 
I did have issues fitting the tubing past the hand brake cable assembly under the fuel tank and had to shrink the pipework to fit. I used Air compressor braided tubing, and in hindsight am looking to change it to that clear tubing . Looks to have a smaller wall so should be easier to install and seal. The current tubing is so rock hard when cool it leaks in so many places!
 
Anyone know of any 19mm barbed joiners that have a threaded hole for a temp sensor? Would be good to use for could for bleed/drain plugs, even a water temp sensor!

Mine fit no problem. Had the right length cut already and i ran them under the car, alongside the radiator pipes and over the rack. But then again my setup came off this car, before he went boot mount.
