"Do you have to be a good driver?"
This is just normal driving on public roads, but it's a lot more fun because we are in a group.

And no, we don't get hassled, because we stick to speed limits.
You're welcome to come along and join us.

Just a wrap up of last weekend’s run.
The Vic club does encourage any MR2 owners to participate in our events, and it was good to see two non-club member cars turn up for this one.
We ended up with about 15 people in 10 cars:
Two Spyders, six SW20’s, one immaculate rare MG RV/8, and one very new FT-86 that had only been picked up by the lucky owner a day or so before. (We might end up making these honorary MR2’s).

Turned out to be another interesting run, and with club runs during the winter often means we almost have the roads to ourselves, which was the case this time with a lot of twisty MR2 roads over a route organized by our club president. There seemed to be a distinct lack of cyclists (hooray!) for that area on a Sunday. Maybe just too cold for them or late nights watching the ‘Le Tour’.
Anyway we were lucky and almost finished the run at Panton Hill before the rain came down, great fun.

I will be organizing the next Vic MR2 Club run on July 29th.
The route will be to the West around the Brisbane Ranges with only a short trip back to the city at the finish, and I will post the details later.
