Hey so I'm looking at getting either a postie bike or a honda z50

I mainly will be using it for my 3 min commute to work so the mr2 will be saved for the weekends, at the same time I still like to have things a little different hence why I want a z50

This is my list if pros and cons I've written up

Postie bike CT110
Cheaper
Parts more available
Newer
Safer (more visible)
Slower
Not too much aftermarket support
Common
Torquier
Can go off road

Honda Z50
Cooler looking
Faster (with an engine swap which most people do so aren't too difficult to find one for sale with it done)
More aftermarket support for modifying

I'm after some advice, even though the postie bike has more pros I'm still leaning towards a honda z50

What do you guys think?

how much are you willing to spend?

to get a road registerable honda z50 is going to be alot more expensive than a postie bike? (on a side note have you checked out sachs madass's?)

if i was you i'd buy a sachs madass;
mid point in price between the postie and a honda z50
german reliability (not 40 years old (honda z) or flogged to **** (postie)
parts everywhere for mods or repairs
apparently actually fun to ride
easy to work on

i've got a honda z in pieces thats road registerable, would LOVE to get it on the road but for all my projects, its low on the list of priorities.

I've found one rego'd already for 12 months for 2 grand. Which is around how much I wanna spend. Posties I have found them rego'd for as low as $1,000

I have seen those around but they are more expensive, my other option is a Honda ruckus but they are a bit over priced

get the z then.

its collectable, its cool, and it'll do the job.
the postie will do the job.

Have you considered the Honda CB125e? It's about $2500 brand new driveaway. For a 3 min ride I think I'd just ride a bicycle (for good health) or better yet build an electric bike
