I think you would be happier with good shocks and new springs more so than coilovers as you would may find most coilovers too firm.
Good to see he went right over it fairly thoroughly.

You are in good hands with Peter @ Road 2 Race
Highly recommend sticking with just factory suspension, these cars handle pretty nice with fresh factory suspension.

List of things:

Shock absorber replacement
Protective boots perished (just bits of rubber rings floating around that no-one has ever mentioned, plus bump stop thingy's missing)
Springs or maybe coil overs
Steering rack worn. Movement in housing bushes.  Steering rack mounts needed
Front strut bar bush's
Lower control arm inner bush's
Rear suspension tow link outer bush's in wheel hub
Rear sway bar mounts
After having all that replaced, it'll be ready to hit the track again Shaz 😉

I agree with sticking to factory shocks for your car.

You can buy an entire polyurethane bush kit off ebay for around $150 which should have nearly everything you need.

SW20R.
If you want something adjustable, I can recommend the Koni Yellows. Just had a proper set fitted to my car and they're nothing short of amazing.

+1 for Koni yellow insets in the stock struts if you can afford them. Great ride for the street.

Thanks for all the comments.
I think he said it may be more economical to go with coil overs instead springs & shocks.
Will see what he comes back with on prices.
He was also being honest, saying it may not be worth spending the money on her & suggesting that i may be better off buying something else.

I don't think you'd be happy with coil overs, the lower quality ones may be cheaper than Konis initially - but i'm pretty sure that coil overs don't have the lifespan of traditional shocks and springs and need to be rebuilt or replaced earlier than you'd like.

That and the ride - very go-kartish, nice on a smooth track but no so nice on a normal road. In my opinion anyway, and everyone has one  of those...
