Looking great man, how are you finding the A1RM pads? I had a track day not too long ago with them and found that while fade wasn't really an issue unless you're pulling up from a main straight they are alright for small track work and good for around town.

A1RM pads have been great for my light track use and daily driving. I haven't experienced any brake fade on track (using Super Dot 4 fluid, stainless lines) and for daily driving I found the A1RM pads don't bite as well cold compared to the genuine Toyota pads but after a few stops they feel great. Very dusty and also noisier than the Toyota pads but that was expected. My car is a daily so I might try the HPX pads next time round, bit easier on the rotors and longer life.

Yea that can be true, I had HPX in my celica and wasn't a fan, down big hills they faded more than I was happy with. I felt like the A1RM is a happy medium for performance, noise, dust and disc/pad wear. I used to run Project Mu race pads that chewed through the discs faster than the pads haha so the A1RM is a welcome change. 

I can't seem to shake this feeling that it's time for a change. I have owned this car for 9 years and still love it but finding that I'm needing a something with 4 seats. The only thing really holding me back is I can't find anything to replace it that is 2012 or newer and still remains sporty, affordable and has soul/character.
 
One plan was to buy an AW11, put it on club rego and get myself a daily driver... not so sure anymore.

Real seats would be desirable I have been eyeing off the Toyota 86, prices are dropping but tiny rear bucket seats.

I haven't found any cars that excite me as much as my Bathurst. I really do love this car. It has treated me extremely well.
 
On another note I have continued to record every fill up since 2016, pretty boring stuff but I get a kick out of it.
 
Here is my 2017 averages results. (2016 can be round on page 9)
 
My 2017 average L/100km increased to 9.24 L/100km from 8.87 L/100km in 2016. This is prob due to the heavier traffic during my daily commutes to work (new job) and 2 track days which I might add showed my worst fuel economy with average between the 2 track days at 12.17 L/100km (including driving to and from the track + daily driving duties until I was required to fill up). If I remove the track days I'm back to around 8.97 L/100km. My best economy for the 2017 was 8.02 L/100km compared to 2016 which was 7.25 L/100km
 
Driving to my new job with a further travel distance showed an increase from 2016 of 7840.5km for a total of 17635.2km which is the furthest km traveled in 1 year in my 9 year ownership.  
 
I only started tracking $ values in 2017 and 2018. Most expensive $ per L was on the 15-12-2017 and was at $1.689, cheapest was 10-07-2017 at $1.309.

It's not boring! I used to have a boring 600km/week weekly commute. I used a fuel app to try to better my weekly fuel usage. It became a game of hypermiling in the end.

Considering your overall route driving (city a lot and a little track work too) it is pretty good which points to a very healthy engine and brakes that are not dragging. Excellent result really. And thanks for sharing.
Plenty of us only record fuel consumption figures on long distance highway running and that is OK. for identifying if something is not correct and needing attention. (A brake slider pin seized, brake dragging, restriction in air inlet, closed loop operation faulty, O2. Sensor). Makes you appreciate the litres flowing through that little fuel filter ?

I recently rode in a turbo 86 with good quality coilovers and was impressed with ride quality.
Was not impressed with the after market ECU.tune. Absolute rubbish. Ruined a very nice car.
Yes back seat is only for handbags but nice modern car for very reasonable money. I suspect there may be oil surge difficulties with sticky tyres on track. Turbo was limited to seven PSI.so not spectacular but a big improvement.
