Got a new PB of 1'13.2 yesterday at a Circuit Club Wakefield event! Usually, I feel I could have gone quicker if I did x or y better, but this time I'm very satisfied. I wanted a 1'12 (and I know the car could've done it) but I gave it absolutely everything and this was the best I could do. I tried pushing harder and just ended up spinning off. I tried driving neater and didn't hold as much speed. I'd simply reached my limits.
The Kumho ku36s I was using have served me well and were even kind enough to give me a PB on their very last legs. The rears are completely bald and will probably show canvas if I do another day on them haha. Thus, this will be the last time I set on street tyres as I'll have some AO50 semi slicks before the next track day. Hoping for 1'11s and eventually a high 1'10.
