[CONFIRMED] MR2WA Cruise 13/11/2011

Last thread was bit confusing with various changes and stages of planning - this is confirmed.

MR2WA Cruise
Sunday 13th November 2011
Meeting at West Perth Licensing Centre - Corner Troode Street & Plaistowe Mews (Map To be uploaded tomorrow)


Meet: 10.30-10.45 (am)
Depart: 11.00 (am)
 
Will be departing, heading through tunnel and driving some nice scenic roads in the hills (no not heading to Zig Zags again )

Would suggest,
Bring a drink bottle (for your consumption)
At least half a tank of fuel (unfortunately only one fuel stop is nearby and they dont have 98)
Give your brakes, and tyres a good check over

Pete - Dang - unfortunately majority prefer weekends and as do I - week day cruises would be hard to work around traffic. Maybe another time
 
Dr. J - No harm in bringing the misses, remembering how slow my car is - wont be tearing up the hills.

Either way, looks like my car have its fresh coat on for the cruise - so most will still have to excuse the miscoloured/half primer panels

I did that once, its good if you never done anything like that before - you have the choice to have an instructor in the car and they tell you a fair bit of quick, and safe driving techniques.
 
There were alot of cars when I did it (I think about 15), probably got 5max runs on skidpan due to the amount of cars. Depends how many show on the day
 
Preferred doing a Tuning day at same location but they open the track as well, its half the time (only 2 to 2.5 hours) only $75. Everyone there was lining up for the track, therefore skidpan was basically free - basically non stop until my brakes were well and truly cooked.

Car is up on chassis stands atm - nothing on the hubs!
By the way, what happened to your front bar? (pre-widebody)

Also - can you PM or txt me Perth Wheel Repair (Bob)'s number?  I lost it when I lost my HTC and my old iPhone 3GS doesn't have your number in it..

Re: future cruises, I went up to Serpentine Falls in Jarrahdale on Sunday - they have some fkn awesome roads up there, with 110km speed limits, curves, rolling bends - the works!  I only hit one road, brown signposted as a "Scenic Drive", but it looked like there are plenty of routes up there - I suggest we sort out a cruise which examines these roads!!!  Me and my missus loved it - massive grins ;)
