4AGE & CAMS

Has anyone put high degree cams (270 +) in the 4AGE ?  - If so, with what results ? Power ?, Idle? and what other engine mods were required?

I'm looking at a pair of 277 degree cams in a standard 4AGE

Cheers
Keith

Send domma_aw11 a message, he has a set of 288's in his 4AGE and can give you a bit of information on how it all goes.

    Hey keith,

when i built my 4age i put 288deg crow cams in, i think they are 9 or 10ml lift, and they came with valve springs, are u just running a bigport or smallport?? mine is a bigport head on a smallport block, i made 82 rwkw with a stock ecu and still making power on the limiter!! i hada dyno sheet, but i cnt find it... i also jus have stock camgears aswell. the only mod i did was a fuel reg...

i havnt checked my email yet, so if u did msg me, il respond as well..
