MR2 Evading police

Not sure if you have all seen this video, for those who havent

Doing stupid stuff is one thing, but then filming it and putting it on the internet. What a fool.

This happened down in sydney and there was also a 10 news report on it, where in the report they show the car, a purple early model SW20. Thats just fantastic for giving us all a bad name.

Not sure if the guy is on here or if anyone knows him, but what was he thinking....

Yeah i seen it up on facebook but he was quick to take it down after a few comments made! Choose the wrong car group to mess with!
Obviously unaware that cops watch youtube for stuff like that!

Tool. His comment 'lucky they didn't catch me that day' is prophetic, I bet they may be knocking on his door soon enough. Ever heard of anpr?

So much more of a tool that has ever been offered in  a sponsored http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/tm.aspx?m=108906 repco thread.

This driver has showed any normal car enthusiast to:

    1. Not bear the brunt of a small speeding ticket. (If it was small enough - maybe the cop with the radar wanted a bigger fish, really, 10kph over the limit?? I reckon they give you a dirty look rather than pen to paper)

    2. Not bear the brunt of a weeny 10kph+ ticket and a possible defect notice and turn it into something greater...

I guess it depends on your car and you.
    How bad your car is.
    How much the cop knows.
How much of a tool you are to the cop.
How much of a tool the cop is.

How much of a tool you are.

    They are all quite variable.

In this instance, the driver has shown - without looking at any consequence of the above - how to change to notice from a speeding ticket into a multiple of offences which would probably be heard in a court. Really??? "How I got away from doing 10kph over the limit and a defect for a blow off valve - showed the video and got sent to court for a shed load more"

    Winner.
