TAIL LIGHTS LIGHTING ON ALL FOUR?

hey guys, i've got a bathurst SW20, which means i have the late model tail lights already
i want all four round lights light up when i have my low beams flicked on and all four light up brighter when i brake.

i have already got my hands on a set of ealier model tail light wiring harnesses.
but the adapter doesn't seem to plug on my stock wiring? where can i get an adapter??
also i want to know what do i do with the reverse lights?

any kind of help or beforehand experience would be greatly appreciated..

cheers guys..

hah, yes they switched the plugs on us. you will have to cut up both looms and make a custom loom.

    Errrr why?

You can just rewire the inner lights to the switch that runs the outter lights, so that they turn on/off at the same time.

    The lampholders are different dylan.

The lamps are dual fillament, the lampholders have 4 contact pins as opposed to 2. Need the new lamholders to get the dual filament bulbs to work properly.

He's already got the late model lights?

so ignore using the early model harness, just wire the inner lights to the same switch as the outer ones in parallel?

I'm certain that's how I did mine 7 years ago.

Talked to you on MSN about this.

He still needs 2 dual filament lampholders for the inner 2 lights. Piece of cake to wire up :)

I'll have to take your word for it.

My car (Jap GT) didn't need the different lamp holders but perhaps they just came all 4 lights dual and they went cheapo on the Aussie bathursts.

yeah the bathurst wirings wont allow me to do so because of the dual fillament on only one globe (which only light up on brake light and not low beam)

the only problem i have is the gen 1 wiring connector which cannot adapt to my bathurst plug.. (it's female and i have to convert it to male?)

and also not sure what i have to do with the reverse lights...

no.. you cut the bulb holder off another harness.. and wire it up to the bathurst harness.
